Vertical Micro Series · Unseen Tenants · When a missing persons case leads Detective Maia Soren to a floor that doesn't exist, she must face the Virelli dynasty and a surveillance archive that records everyone’s darkest sins.

Beyond grateful for the journey of creating Unseen Tenants! I was deeply honoured to be offered by Kweeks to bring this project to life, marking my first experience creating a micro-series in vertical format for their innovative platform. The Kweeks grant program has made all the difference, giving me the support needed to focus on the high-quality visual and narrative of the series.
Unseen Tenants is a 12-episode micro-series that blends psychological thriller, investigative drama, and systemic conspiracy.
The story follows Detective Maia Soren as she uncovers a hidden 13th floor—one that doesn’t officially exist, yet holds decades of buried truths.
What begins as a missing persons case evolves into something far more unsettling:
not a crime… but a system.

"Deryl delivered an impressive micro-series with a strong concept, compelling characters, and a well-crafted narrative that keeps the viewer engaged throughout all 26 minutes. The storytelling is dynamic, the visual language is consistent across episodes, and the twist at the end lands perfectly. He was also great to work with: responsive, open to feedback, and quick to implement changes. It was a real pleasure collaborating with Deryl, and we'd happily work with him again!
